A recent article titled “Fakes, Frauds, and Phonies in the Marketplace” addresses counterfeiting and other unauthorized uses of the FM Approvals’ certification mark that can cause considerable harm to our customers and the public at large. This article published by our third-party certifier, FM Approvals, makes that clear. If you are in doubt about a hot work fabric that claims to be FM Approved to ANSI/FM 4950, AMI can request verification by FM Approvals.
To do this we will need one or more of the following:
- A copy of the label
- A copy of the the data sheet
- A photo of the packaging
