Series Key
AMI products are coded by series type. Here's a quick key:
- GL = 100% fiberglass
- PGL = 100% carbon with a 100% fiberglass core
- AGL = Aluminized foil bonded to fiberglass
- FL = Composite of aramid and fiberglass fibers
- FLPN = Aramid/fiberglass and partially carbonized acrylic fiber
- AFLPN = Aluminized aramid/fiberglass with partially carbonized acrylic fiber
- NX = Needled aramid fabric and tapes
- AS = Amorphous silica
- SAS = Amorphous silica coated with silicone rubber
- SGL = Silicone coated fiberglass
